Robodry 25
The ROBODRY 25 is designed to dry every part of a painted vehicle and individual components on supports.
It is usually installed inside a paint booth to dry waterborne and clear coats.
The robot comprises an overhead crane and three groups of radiant panels: horizontal, vertical right, and vertical left.
The three groups of infrared panels with Drytronic technology allow the paint in every part of the vehicle to dry, as parts on the stands.
The horizontal group of Drytronic infrared panels automatically moves up and down to adapt to the vehicle’s correct distance and shape, drying the bonnet and roof properly.
The two vertical groups, right and left, dry the car’s sides for the entire set length, even for a single fender.
The ROBODRY 25 has an integrated database of water-based and clear coat drying formulas, allowing the painter to store their drying formulas for multiple types of paint.
The painter selects the paint used and the part of the car he wants to dry, and the robot automatically dries the paint using formula parameters.
The correct drying parameters are adjusted automatically and simultaneously with the drying treatment via three temperature lasers, one for each side of the car.
Given the Drytronic technology used, drying times are very fast. A car door can dry in about two minutes.
The drying speed is not the only advantage; consumption is also surprising. Compared to drying in a traditional paint booth, it consumes about 15-20% of energy.
A painter using ROBODRY can easily double the number of cars produced daily. Having a paint booth worth twice as much is a great space-saving solution.
A PLC with a 15″ UHD touch screen is the proper operator interface, and friendly graphics help the painter to use the machine.
The installation takes only a few days, so the painter no longer has a production stop.
